LouAnn Elwell has a B.S. Degree in University Studies from SIU Carbondale and has worked at SIUC since 1983!  She has worked in the School of Art and Design since fall semester 1992, previously working in the College of Education Dean’s Office, Accounts Payable, Evaluation and Developmental Center and Payroll.  LouAnn is also a jewelry artist and uses her spare time to create and sell her work at fairs and festivals, along with her husband who makes glass beads for the jewelry she creates.

LouAnn works directly with the Director of the School and handles all matters pertaining to keys, statistical reports, faculty searches and maintains the School’s website as well as a multitude of other duties.  She loves working in the School of Art and Design and enjoys keeping in contact with students, both current and those who have graduated.
